  5.     Yes, being grounded by flight delays with kids in tow can
  6. be f-u-n. At least at Denver's Stapleton International Airport,
  7. which has joined hands with the Children's Museum of Denver to
  8. launch the first children's museum in an airport.

  10.     Since August KidsPort has kept thousands of little fingers
  11. and big imaginations busy by offering earthbound youngsters an
  12. opportunity to explore everything from the dynamics of flight
  13. to the clothes people wear. A Rocky Mountain climb on a special
  14. surface and a jump into Colorado's famed powder snow (actually
  15. 60,000 white balls) have also let the sports-minded unwind.

  17.     "Because airports are adult places with nothing for kids to
  18. do, we thought this would be a natural," says KidsPort director
  19. Jim Mittenthal. Apparently so. Many pilots now announce the
  20. attraction to passengers on arriving planes, and even local
  21. school groups are booking reservations.
